Participants of the XXVII German American Young Leaders Conference 2005 in Bismarck, North Dakota
Atlantik-Brücke’s main focus lies in organizing conferences, seminars, workshops, small discussion groups, and informational trips for representatives from politics, business, academia, and the media, as well as for young Americans and Europeans who have shown potential to become future leaders in their respective fields. Some of these programs are organized in cooperation with institutions in North America with similar missions. Other highlights of Atlantik-Brücke’s work are its Study Trips for American journalists, American Social Studies Teachers, and professors from American universities. Furthermore, Atlantik-Brücke awards the Eric M. Warburg Prize in Berlin, Germany and the Vernon A. Walters Prize in New York to individuals who have distinguished themselves through their extraordinary contributions to German-American friendship. |
