On the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, we will discuss the significance of this milestone for today’s geopolitical landscape. Our guest speaker is historian Douglas Brinkley (Rice University), who will then join General (Ret.) Ben Hodges, former Ambassador Emily Haber, and Tina Hassel, Head of ARD’s Brussels Studio, for a discussion on the role of the United States, the transatlantic alliance, and the future of NATO. The discussion will be moderated by Claus Kleber, former anchor of ZDF’s “heute journal.”
Following the discussion, we would be delighted to welcome you to our summer garden reception — the perfect setting to connect and unwind in a relaxed atmosphere.
