It is no secret: the transatlantic relationship is under pressure. Divisions over the course in Ukraine and the Middle East, frictions resulting from recent trade negotiations, and diverging regulatory approaches in many areas have all contributed to a period of turbulence between Europe and North America.

At our upcoming event, we will not only unpack the current dynamics but also look ahead: What does the future hold for the Western partnership over the next decade? What do younger generations want and think is realistic? How do we insert some of that trajectory into the current disruption – right now?

Speakers:

  • Amy English,  Deputy Staff Director, Senate Foreign Relations Committee
  • Dr. Liana Fix, Senior Fellow for Europe, Council on Foreign Relations
  • Julia Friedlander (YL 2018), CEO, Atlantik-Brücke
  • Robbie Gramer, National Security Reporter, The Wall Street Journal
  • Rachel Hoff (YL 2018), Policy Director, Ronald Reagan Institute

We would like to thank our Alumna Liana Fix (YL 2023) for her support and the Council on Foreign Relations for its kind hospitality.
