The IISS Shangri-La Dialogue is Asia’s premier defense summit where ministers debate the region’s most pressing security challenges, and engage in bilateral and multilateral defense diplomacy. Hosted by the IISS, the 2025 Dialogue will take place on 30 May–1 June in Singapore.

IISS Director General, Dr. Bastian Giegerich, has kindly offered to host the London Chapter of the Atlantik-Brücke for an exclusive debrief of the event. We believe this is a special opportunity to learn more about the IISS and to discuss the insights from the Shangri-La Dialogue on questions like: How does Asia view the geopolitical priorities of the new US administration? What is the state of the US-China rivalry? And what is the interplay of security priorities in Asia with the Atlantic hemisphere?

The evening will take place at the IISS headquarter, Arundel House, with a wonderful view overlooking the Thames embankment. Drinks and nibbles will be served after the presentation and Q&A.

This event is in collaboration with the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS).

This event is for members of Atlantik-Brücke.
