After two successful and insightful delegation trips to Paris and Warsaw as part of Atlantik-Brücke’s “Europe Initiative”, we are extending our collaboration to other strategically important European partners. We cordially invite you to save the dates for the next two upcoming delegation trips to Milan and Vilnius.

With these delegation trips, we aim to deepen our thematic exchanges with our European partners in areas of particular transatlantic relevance. Together, we want to advance a renewed transatlantic partnership on equal footing, while fostering closer strategic dialogue on shared political, economic, and security challenges.

Milan – Italy’s financial capital and the center of the industrial powerhouse region of Lombardy – provides an ideal setting to initiate thematic exchanges with our Italian partners on issues of transatlantic relevance and discuss how we can advance the transatlantic partnership together on equal footing.

Our program will begin on Monday morning with a half-day conference at the headquarters of the Generali Group in Milan. During two sessions, we will focus on European financial markets and industrial cooperation between Germany and Italy. In addition, we are currently planning further meetings on transatlantic defense, including a confirmed meeting with Leonardo S.p.A., Italy’s largest defense company, which – amongst many other projects – operates the final assembly line for F-35 fighter jets. Further sessions will address topics such as European supply chain resilience with a focus on mechanical engineering, energy policy and bilateral cooperation, as well as Milan’s world-renowned fashion industry.  Guido Guidesi, Minister of Economic Development, Region of Lombardy and Prof. Dr. Andrea Sironi, Chairman, Generali; President, Bocconi University have been confirmed as speakers.
