Arthur Burns Memorial Lecture

The lectures in this series are given by decision-makers from the fields of economics and finance. One focus of these traditional lectures, which take place at irregular intervals, is the role of the transatlantic partnership in relation to economics, finance, and markets. The Memorial Lecture for Arthur Burns, established by Atlantik-Brücke in cooperation with the Deutsche Bundesbank, commemorates not only an important economist and president of the Federal Reserve, but also a committed US ambassador to Germany from 1981 to 1985.
