The Transatlantic Forum on GeoEconomics is an annual flagship convening focused on issues at the nexus of economics, finance, foreign policy, and national security.

On December 11, 2026, the Atlantik-Brücke and the Atlantic Council’s GeoEconomics Center, Europe Center, will host the Transatlantic Forum on GeoEconomics: Strategies for prosperity in a transformed global economy in Miami, Florida. This is our fifth annual flagship event and will convene senior policymakers and business leaders to reimagine transatlantic coordination, competition and cooperation at the nexus of trade, national security, and technology.

This year’s conference will take place directly ahead of the G20 Leaders’ Summit in Miami, as the United States seeks to re-shape the global trading system and Europe navigates shockwaves both from within and outside its borders. The Forum will feature senior representatives from US, European and G20 governments as well as private-sector leaders from both sides of the Atlantic and beyond.

The conference will feature the following key pillars:

  • Trade
  • Digital assets
  • AI and tech innovation
  • Dollar and euro
  • Defense financing
