After the NATO Summit – What Lies Ahead for Cooperation on European Defense and Economic Security?

Together with Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik (SWP) we would like to announce our next joint workshop on Economic Policy and Security.

In the wake of the NATO Summit, our next workshop aims to assess the key outcomes and their implications for national security planning – with particular attention to economic security strategies. Set against shifting geopolitical dynamics and mounting calls for greater European independence from the United States for its own security, the workshop offers a timely forum to explore strategic policy options and necessary institutional reforms, both within Germany and across Europe. Special emphasis will be placed on the role of the private sector in advancing European strategic sovereignty and on opportunities for public-private cooperation.
