Reception at the German Embassy in London

The Kensington Treaty, signed by Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Chancellor Friedrich Merz in July 2025, marked a new era in German-UK relations following the 2024 Trinity Agreement. The „Treaty on Friendship and Bilateral Cooperation“ builds on shared security concerns and significantly strengthens defense, economic, and diplomatic ties.

Against this backdrop, we are delighted to be hosted by Ambassador Susanne Baumann, the new German Ambassador to the United Kingdom, for the traditional Atlantik-Brücke reception at her residence. Together with the Ambassador, we will discuss how the Kensington Treaty promotes European defense readiness and economic prosperity.
